What is the difference between webspace and web hosting?
Both terms are usually used interchangeably. Strictly speaking, webspace is the storage for your website, while web hosting is the complete package: storage, the Plesk panel, databases and network connectivity. At noez.de you get both together.
Where are the servers for my web hosting located?
Our web hosting systems run on our own hardware in premium data centers in Frankfurt am Main.
Can I install WordPress on my webspace?
Yes. With Plesk's WordPress Toolkit you install WordPress in a single click and then centrally manage updates and other WordPress functions.
Is a domain included in the web hosting?
A domain is ordered separately — for example directly from us. You then connect it to your webspace in just a few clicks.
Is there a minimum term?
No. You pay for the selected period in advance and renew only when still needed.
How do I upload my website?
The classic way via FTP, for example with FileZilla, or directly in your browser via web FTP. You can also select the PHP version yourself in Plesk.
Is my webspace protected against DDoS attacks?
Yes. Free DDoS filtering up to 1 Tbit/s is permanently active on every web hosting plan.
Can I switch to a VPS later?
You can order a VPS separately and let the webspace expire when you stop renewing it. In the Test Center you can try a VPS free for 7 days; the trial ends automatically.
How do I manage SSL certificates?
You manage SSL certificates and HTTPS directly in Plesk. The certificate options available for your domain are shown there.
Are email mailboxes included with the webspace?
Mailboxes and mailing lists are included depending on the booked plan and are managed in Plesk. The plan description shows the current quantity and storage capacity.
